Seems so. Ive still not found my problem though.
Think its the black bungs in the boot water channel. By the tail light clusters.
Need to strip the rear out, have someone run a hose over it and see where its coming in. I just cba to strip it out.
Nice one. So i do all this and swap over the panels as pictured in your last pic? From the ph2 stalk to the ph1?

Id have no idea what would looked right or wrong. As ive nothing to compare too. I did read about a canceling ring being missing or not aligned. But no idea what that looks like either.
Always been like this since i owned the car. Have only just got round to this issue on my list. Last problem too.
Its a ph2, but has a ph1 stalk as it has a sabelt wheel.
Any ideas? Has it been wired in wrong? Something faulty or is it just normal for a ph1 stalk on a ph2?
Sounds like the starter isnt engaging. Give it a knock with a rubber hammer or a metal one with a plank of wood.
Sister volvo sounded and did the exact thing.
I had always used megs. Its brilliant stuff. But i recently got some AF satin tyre dressing and rate it above megs endurance. Still use megs now and then as the actual shine is better but doesnt last as long as satin.
Some one else in newbury charged 100 for inlet mani and engine cover. And 20 for fuel rail guard.
Weather thst was normal spraying or powder coating i dont know. I have no idea how to tell the difference.
