And when using axle stands, should always have a leg pointing to the outside. To stop it toppeling over when jacking up the other side. What i was always told anyway. In my eyes that pic with the blue axle stands is actually wrong.

Tried using some grips to turn it and get it off? Then just replace the bolt.

Push from underneath. Push new ones in.

Id superglue the crack. And then go over the whole thing with wet and dry paper. Polish it up. Clean and re-laquer. Mjne needs this doing too

2 clips and then scuttle pulls off. And then two 6mm IIRC bolts holding the pack in.

Wont be hard. Windscreen trims off. And then use a bonding cutter to cut the window out. Clean the metal frame up. And bond the new one in. Can get the tool off ebay for £15

Try renparts? Will come with a warranty too.

took out all the interior, covered the edges in anti rattle tape, fixed my floor grommet that was letting in water, put trim back in. cleaned the inside. then washed, clayed, washed, SRP and HD wax, went for a drive... still 1000's of rattles and car no covered in road dust. pissed.

Old speaker cable etc. Anything thst can take 12v. Most cables. I used a bit of old house plug cable.

Ignition off, bridge pins 1 and 5. Turn the key, you will hopefully have the blowers come on full wack!

Yeah, just unplug the pack and put some wire between the end pins which are 1and5. This should make the fans come.on full blast. If the blower motor is working anyway.

You need to bridge pins 1 and 5 on the resistor pack plug. If your fans come on full blast, then its the resistor pack faulty. If nothing happens still, its the blower motor. Which is what was wrong with mine. All lights and functions worked.

Yeah of corse. Just wont have any blowers. Id cover the hole though so it doesnt let it water etc.

Take bumper off. Cut the bolts off? Bumper comes off within 5 mins. So not a big job. Total of like 8 fixings. Why you taking it off?

Thats the one in two pieces isnt it? I fitted one too my mates 172. Horrible fit. He has smashed it off since then driving onto a set of ramps lol. Has a ktec one on order. The ktec one is a much better fit. And looks better as its one piece so no join in the middle.

Im on my third carbon fibre splitter! Even this one has a crack. Chip really easy and have no flex in them. So the slighest knock they crack. If/when this on needs changing im going for a skoda one.
