Well I had to replace the hub you see, and we couldn't get the old ABS sensor out to refit to the car. The new hub doesn't have a sensor, so it's jus a case of fitting the new sensor. Suppose just lost of cleaning and lots of grease needed then?
Had a quick search and couldn't see anything that directly answere my question. I've got to fit an O/S fron ABS sensor for my ph1 before the MOT, and forked out for a genuine Renault part. As it is such a tight fit I really don't want to damage it, and have to fork out again.
Does anyone have...
2 1/4" straight cut is my favourite.. in fact I have it on my 172. Perfect size in my opinion.
You can ignore that cutout in the bumper, it's gone now.
20mm front spacers, just fitted some to mine and made a massive improvement. Granted it's in the middle of having life breathed into it so I haven't had a chance to drive it with them on yet.
wow, wasn't quite expecting such a spirited response. I'll be honest with you though, I didn't quite understand that sentence I highlighted there, think you may have changed your mind halfway through writing it. (That isn't a dig by the way)
What I was trying to say is, if you were going to fit...
Sorry I thought you meant you could still hear a noise, didn't realise you meant in the same place. Have you checked the ball joint and track rod ends? My ph1 was making a 'clunk' sound when setting off and it turned out to be a ball joint not tightened properly.
Starting to look much more like a car now. Engine may is finally tidied up, and everything routed correctly. Got round to replacing the Cabin filter too, which looked like it had never been done.
Engine bay is almost done, just need to mount the ECU. Quite nice to see things back together in...
I'm jus hoping they don't go all 'Ken Block' with it. Grid was basically and afterthought when they made Dirt. I hope they stick the the roots a little more cosndering the latest of the Dirt franchise looks worrying.
