Engine has been ripped out of the sunflower in the past few months, and finally putting everything together. Annoyingly as it's taken a while we've forgotten what route the PAS line takes over the gearbox. There looks like there should be somewhere that the line should bolt to the gearbox, or...

Sorry, meant to say, when I had gauges in my old car they were flush on the dash which made them a bit awkward to look at when you were driving.

As he's said, they are angled towards the driver. No reason for them to be flush.

Not a huge update, but this has been dragging on a little while.. Basically we (Jord) got everything ready to see if we could get the engine started to make sure it was OK. Got the radiator/AC/PAS piped up, and ready to go. Ignition on (fuel pump didn't prime).. and not enough charge to crank...

Mine is quite loud from the outside.. not sure if it's louder than an oreca.

There are some right rotters about, especially ph1s. Good on you finding a clean one, it's getting harder and harder.

I'm over in Mayo fairly regularly.. 172s are fairly rare from what I found in Ireland.

Re: I have a geius appointment this evening ah right ok, well I have no idea what caused the problems or what fixed them. Hopefully they'll be able to tell me and fix it. I'm just hoping they don't say "nah it's fine" and then the same issues crop up again when it's out of warrantee.
