    PAS route question (Ph1 172)

Engine has been ripped out of the sunflower in the past few months, and finally putting everything together. Annoyingly as it's taken a while we've forgotten what route the PAS line takes over the gearbox. There looks like there should be somewhere that the line should bolt to the gearbox, or...

is it worth stripping out ur car?

I look back with fond memories of a stripped out road car, there was something fun about it, and it did make a noticeable difference to 'performance'. If like comfort and/or listening to music, then don't do it. Also, if you have a girlfriend be prepared to have a pretty badass excuse why you...

    Bren's Sunflower 172 - Engine Rebuild

Well, the car is finally back on all four wheels. It's been looking very sorry for itself over the past few months, and I'd started to forget juts how low the car is. The suspension is still settling down too. Jord came down again on Friday to see if we could get the engine to crank over after...

I imagine it'd need chopping down, which will obviously effect resale, unless you sold it with the car, or sold it wiht he 182 mani.

MK2 Gauge pod in clock housing how to inc. pics.

Sorry, meant to say, when I had gauges in my old car they were flush on the dash which made them a bit awkward to look at when you were driving.

MK2 Gauge pod in clock housing how to inc. pics.

As he's said, they are angled towards the driver. No reason for them to be flush.

    Bren's Sunflower 172 - Engine Rebuild

Not a huge update, but this has been dragging on a little while.. Basically we (Jord) got everything ready to see if we could get the engine started to make sure it was OK. Got the radiator/AC/PAS piped up, and ready to go. Ignition on (fuel pump didn't prime).. and not enough charge to crank...

There are some right rotters about, especially ph1s. Good on you finding a clean one, it's getting harder and harder.

What do you say to people who call your car a 'girls car'?

With mine being Yellow, it's sometimes easier to just say "no no no.. it's far too gay to be a girls car". They just follow that up with a "..but I love it"

Just agree and say "yes girls love it".

Me too.. but I'm not splashing on one until this one gives up on me entirely. It's been fine since I had a decent exhaust place take a look at it.

    oreca group n exhaust

I've got a couple of photos, but none of the underneath. It's basically got a sports cat, then straight through to he backbox. Then just the same 2 1/4" straight cut pipe for the tip. Please ignore the stupid cutout on the bumper in the first image.. Previous owner. Day he exhaust was done..

I have a genius appointment this evening

Re: I have a geius appointment this evening The price has always put me off. Anyway, they opened up my MBP as they thought possibly the logicboard or the harddrive may be loose. Turns out everything was seated correctly and no obvious problems. They also ran a diagnostic test and found there...

I have a genius appointment this evening

Re: I have a geius appointment this evening ah right ok, well I have no idea what caused the problems or what fixed them. Hopefully they'll be able to tell me and fix it. I'm just hoping they don't say "nah it's fine" and then the same issues crop up again when it's out of warrantee.

I have a genius appointment this evening

I bought my Macbook Pro 13" August 2011. The first problem I had was the touchpad cracking. There is a very thin layer of glass on he touchpad which smashed when I dropped a small speaker on it. It has worked perfectly ever since, but is just a little unsightly. I know this was my own fault...
