Re: Bren's Sunflower 172
Not really any updates, still a big list to do, but funds have been tight lately, here's a little post I just put up in another section. Was a bit worried when I discovered it...

As most will know, the rear bearings on the 1*2 is insude the rear disk, this means they are essentially changed every time you fit new disks (those that are supplied with bearings). I changed the rear bearings a few months ago, which is a...
Re: Droning noise coming from wheel when moving
You don't want to leave it too long, or it'll end up like this. Vid from yesterday when changing the rear disks. Pretty worrying realising it was that bad.
Re: Droning noise coming from wheel when moving
Rear bearing, unless you are sure which one it is, then it's worth changing both. This is the bearings I've bought in the past, just need pressing into the rear disk...
I had a 172, then bought pretty much the same car as this, 6 months later I bought another 172 because I missed it too much..... now I want to go back to an Audi because they generally are awesome. I'm pretty indecisive.

I'm pretty sure it isn't the battery as all the lights work pefectly, and there is no 'click' (when you try and start a car with a dead/low...
Well, just had to walk home form my mates. Just tried to start the car, all lights came on, pump primed, but nothing. Car won't crank, so I'm thinking it's the starter. Anything else it could be? Ran fine previously, never had a starting issue previously.
Hugely impressive as ever dude... couldn't believe how much work you'd done when I saw it on Friday. Looking forward to my passenger ride at Oulton.
How many similar projects are we going to see inspired by this?
The light is that small that you would have to be looking at it to notice it come on. Therefore it's easier to just look at the rev counter. My old Ph1 had it, sunflower doesn't. I don't particularly miss that function.
