Just out of interest: Do high compression pistons change the way a car feels to drive? Will it make the car more lumpy to drive under normal road driving and / or sluggish at low revs? Does it shift the power more towards peak or will the power remain the same across the graph ?

Had my 428's mapped yesterday after replacing the Piper re-grinded cams. Heres the results. The car is running exactly the same mods in both runs and the results have a gap of 11 months. As you can see, peak power and torque is down by only 2 bhp and 5 lb/ft with the 428's over the Pipers...

Just bought a pair of rear 172 brake discs for £86.45 (£99.42 inc VAT) from a main Renault dealers. :cool: These include the ABS rings etc already on. Bolt them up job done away you go. Same discs from Renault a year back were £170 and still are on a few well known tuning sites i see ;)...

Are these available on their own and if so what kind of price? Bought a engine years back with a cracked water housing so all the internal components are fine, just not the block casing. Wayyyy in the future id like to build up a stronger low compression bottom end.
