Just out of interest Got a mk1 172 and it never came with the shift light. If i replaced the instrument panel from a 172 which has the shift light, will it work on mine or would i need all the wiring ect to make it work? cheers

When ever i turn the ignition on or off on the car the Alpine head unit makes a buzzing noise for 3 seconds approx. Sounds like the motors inside it Is this a sign that its on its way out as its never made this noise before?? Cheers

Why when i give my 172 a oil change does it take ages before the oil reaches the sump? Takes about 2 hours + to drop down! Should i be taking a breather pipe off or something?

Cars developed a very loud screeching noise from the drivers side of the engine from the duration of the ignition being turned. its fine when its idling and up and running, its just when the cars firing up it makes a loud screech. Anyone any ideas as to what it is?? thanx

The cone on my JL Audio sub makes a tapping noise. Ive had to turn the amp right down but then the things useless and still taps when the volume is cranked up. If i push the cone in slightly when its tapping it stops it. Can the cone be tightend up, glued etc or is it new sub time ??

Any tips on removing the rubber bung where the clutch cable goes into the bulkhead?? Does the bung go out at the engine side or the cockpit side ?? Ive disconnected the cable at both ends but i cant get the cable out through the cockpit. Cheers

Not wanting to start another debat on the rights and wrongs of Induction kits again lol but are all Pipercross Vipers, whether it be for a Mondeo to a Mini etc, the same size?? (diameter internal, external, lengh, width, height, girth etc etc lol ) Is it just the fitting kits thats different?
