Renault should have just stuck the new Meganne 225bhp engine in, instead of teasing 10 more bhp out of it.
I might have been tempted rather than underwhelmed.
I tested my MPG guage earlier this week, zero-ing it at various stages.
On the motorway at 70mph, I got 41mpg. (gently gently)
Zipping around Bracknell and Basingstoke, at one point it got down to 23mpg. (lots of racing 0-60 involved, wheeeeeee ha ha ha ha!)

Something a little solid that has maybe worked its way down through the vacuum tube or brake solution? Maybe cleared when the vacuum was re-applied by switching off/on the engine....

I seem to be one of the few people that like them.
I had one on my 8v1.4rt, and I have one on my 172mk2. I can feel the slower response when the valve is turned off/not fitted. MPG is 3 or 4 better with the valve on. The SHLURP noise will die down after a couple of hundred miles (it only...
If the pads are 70% worn, then they dont need changing. Because my toothpaste tube is 70% empty, I dont rush out and buy another one. Wait a little longer. You can get them cheaper, and the job isnt difficult.
CV boot probably isnt under waranty, as it is a consumable. it is a rubbr casing...
