which sensor is it showing? the upstream (front) or the downstream (rear - after cat). they are 22mm iirc, mine came out really easy after 89k but im sure there will be some that are a pig to change.
Normally if the rear one is faulty then this will show a light but not effect the running of the car
would have thought that you need a new http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/clio-172-throttle-pedal-potentiometer-RUNNING-VIDEO-/230443321868?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35a77e0a0c#ht_2185wt_1137
whats the car doing thats wrong?
There is a noticeable performance difference with the RS Tuner, however, its nothing major. People say that it improves driveability which i didnt really understand until i swapped between the maps (standard and remap) and the car is much more useable with the remap on.
tbh id leave it it, i have a kind of de-cat on mine and had the light come on once when giving it some for a while.
Does have a mis-fire though between 1k and 2.8k but think that may be something else
yeah i can get my fan upto full speed, the a/c comes on but needs re-gassing. May have visit to the scrap yard and see if they have 1*2 in and get a replacement sensor. Still would have thought that there should be something on the display even if the thermostat was broken
I don't seem to have a temp showing on my display. Ive had a look in the manual for the fuse that relates to this but it doesnt tell you.
Anyone know?
If the fuse is fine, where would be my next point of call?
if you took it off it must be somewhere close. Not much people can do across the net.
If you can't find it i'd try halfords, iirc they are open until 4pm today.
Can someone please confirm the order that the HT Leads go from the coil pack to the block.
The coil pack as 1,2,3,4 on, am i right in thinking that the 1 goes to the very left of the block (drivers side) and then works 2,3,4?
thanks
Mark
is the latch in the locked position? if so you should be able to get to the motor to push it back to the unlocked position and then the force of you slamming it might lock it but then you may be stuck with a locked boot that you can't open. id cable tie it shut until you can get a replacment...
i had the same problem but it was 5k. Henk suggested that it was the throttle pedal so i cleaned the connectors and put it back together and that didnt make a difference.
I changed coil pack, plugs, HT leads and none of them worked. I broke down last week and finally found that it was my cat...
are these the bulbs that you can only put in one way? Are they in the right way?
Some of the pegs on them are not equal spaces apart so only fit in one way but you can force them in the wrong way
wait until the car is cold. Start the car and put your hand over the tail pipes and it should blow though the hole (if there is one)
*edit - the exhaust will get hot so don't burn your hand*
if that doesnt work a trip to Renault at a cost of £85 for them to plug it into the diagnostic would be worth it.
I spent hours and wasted a fair few ££££ trying to find a problem myself (guessing at what it could be). Renault diagnosed the fault within minutes and told me what i needed to do...
