Thanx Tom, yeah its just a basic sub+amp installation. Am I to drill a hole underneath the bonnet release lever? Does the amp wire connect to the + or - on the battery Also, I take it when you say the rca, you are refering to the wire that goes to the Headunit? Sorry mate but Im not so...

Can anyone help? I am going to install my amp and sub into my 172 mk II over the weekend. Does anyone know if its easy to connect the amp up to the car battery and if so where do you feed the wire from the inside of the car through to the battery? Cheers Scott

Batesyboy Forgot to ask. What power and what inch are your speakers in both the front and the rear. These as you said are well worth replacing as I think the standard Renault set up in terms of speakers are a bit cack!!! Scott

Jonesy Dont bother doing anything like a turbo or NOS mod to your car. Use the money to help buy a bigger engined car, and then if you want more power, then mod that. For the monet it would cost you together with the cost of your 1.2, you could get a 172, or something equivilent. Scott

Have recently noticed that Renault do an extended rear spoiler / new spoiler for the 172. Although my 172 already has the standard one on, Ive seen a black phase 2 172 with the extended one on and I think it looks the dogs!!! Does anyone know how much these spoilers cost, (painted + fitted)...
