some models you can lift the engine up slightly to wriggle the sump out but some its to tight and easier to drop the subframe off. As above what car is it?
the computer cover is only there as part of the thatchem rating for the immobiliser it serves no other function. my computer bracket snapped years ago and ive never bothered changing it the bracket still stays in place
once you use cherry it stains all your fuel lines etc so can be detected even if you switch back to normal deisal. least with vege made fuel once you switch back to normal deisal nobodys non the wiser
i got an exhaust and ik firstly to make the car sound better. im getting a group n remap just to ensure the engine doesnt run lean. if it goes any better then its a bonus
i would be very hesitant about using vege oil in a modern commen rail deisal engine as the tolerences in the pump and injectors are so fine its unbelievable. i would do research on it just to check what exactly to do
some engines can shut off fueling fullstop on over run and will start injecting as rpm drops to about 1500rpm.
some engines adopt like a stepper injection stratadgy i dont know how to explain it. they do inject a small amount of fuel still but not on every revolution
any newish mot station will have a ramp that when lowered sits flush with the ground so you can drive straight. a mot station must only use a flat bed ramp or pit. try another mot centre
i hated my magnex. looked well built but it never fitted properley and virtually no clearance with the heatsheilds etc. Got rid and will never buy another. My k-tec fitted right virtually first time
there will still be fuel pressure in the rail for a split 2nd after the impact switch has cut the pump. enough to spray over the engine bay if the rail was smashed. I f you have the standard inj/fuel rail why take the alloy cover off? if it come loose tighten it up
