Are all the pumps on the clios the same (phase ones) i mean like the willys and valvers. Are they the same as the ones on the RTs?
I needa new one and wondered if i need to get one from a RT or if i can get one from any other model?
youll need to drive it different to with it all lightened, it may be more revvy but the revs will fall of much quicker to. Its nice though i only had my fly done and felt the difference.
i was at a garage today and they were actually complaing to magnecore after having a very dodgy set of there leads. They guys they were speaking to are, shall we say, less than helpfull

starter. Its only doing it when its hot, check if you have a heat sheild on, if not then there is your problem. Try putting a heat sheild on, if the starter is still playing up then get a volvo one.
I think i need a stronger fuel pump. I only replaced it about a week ago and now its on its way out again. I replcaed it with one from an RT 1400, and thats what i had in there before.
Are there any stronger ones that i could put in, or any after market uprated ones?

I have a streetbalster kit to (noswizard). Its on a GTT converted clio. The micro switch is mounted on a braket just behind the car, so when the pivoted bar is all the way back (when on full throttle) it makes the connection. then there is the arming swtich inside the car

the fuel lines and carb would still take a while to fill up again, i have no perc fan (removed) on mine and if i stall it when hot it some times takes a good while to get it going again.
Just need timrud to clarify the problem, but either way i think he has his answer lol
i replaced my started with a volvo jobby and thay works and sounds si much better and more modern.
Let me just get this straight.. the engine ISNT turning over, its just making a click? If its that then yeah it will be your starter then. THink they volve ones are around 120 ish, but well...
not sure what mounts they used when they put the engine back in.
THey say bad luck comes in 3s so i hope thats my run of three.

Was driving to work this monrnin, had previosuly been doing 100+, but slowed down as came of the dual carriage way, it started makin a ery loud knockin noise as i was turning left (i think) i stopped at some lights and as i went to pull off i couldnt get it into first gear. Pulled off in secind...

Get a bleed valve and up the boost to 20 psi on the standard head gasket and turbo. Thats the way to tune an R5.
