Ordered things from both places had no...
Out of interest can I ask what you mean by that? I'm down south so will never have to deal with them / have no affiliation... Just as they are a CS trader one assumes a good quality of work.
The one in front of the cat is linked into the ecu and alters the fuelling based on it's readings. The one after the cat is there just to check the emissions, ie, it has no effect on the running of the engine.
If you have no symptoms it's likely the rear one, however, it could be anything so...
Part arrived this morning, gonna do it this afternoon. I imagine its amazingly simple but if there's any little nuances or stuff that people know about, let me know!
Capacity IIRC is 5.1 litres, so get a 5l and a 1l to top up and carry around with you.
Opie do the two together for a set price.
And gearbox is 3 litres I think.

With spark plugs: http://goo.gl/r25W
I just serviced mine with the spark plug kit from that site, and used Silkolene Pro S (now Fuchs Titan something) from OpieOils (you get a club discount). Gonna change the gearbox oil when I have time.
Met up with sophiesdad (Andy) tonight and he did a full diagnostics for me, computer showed both lambda sensors at fault, with the upstream one around 1500mv constantly, or falling but never within proper limits. Gonna replace the upstream sensor and hopefully that'll fix it all.
Andy, this is...
When my parents moved from Brighton to Cornwall (in the middle of nowhere, lowest crime rate on earth) their insurance dropped from £990 to £525. Everything identical just a different address.
Try this:

You can also swap to open DNS, instead of your ISP's, and see if that fixes it:

I had issues with some sites being incredibly slow/not working and others working fine, did both those things and it solved it...
I’d say no its not normal.
Just got in the car to drive back from asda and we had the same problem but this time with pops and bangs and the revs were inverse to the throttle. ie, more throttle, less revs... ie... its flooding the engine? After about 5 mins it cleared and I drove back fine...
Cheers guys, I'm gonna get the code read and then change whatever it says.
Sat in it now warming it up andce watched the mpg drop from 36.4 to 35.7 at idle!
Anyone know of somewhere near KT5 that can read codes cheaper than Renault? Cheers
Had an eventful drive last night.
I set off (cold engine) and as I pulled out onto the road the car was struggling to get above 2.5k.. a little shuddery. Had my foot flat to the floor and nothing, the revs falling off slightly even. Then suddenly off we went at full throttle but then as I...
Like this?

Mine gets louder with revs.
I thought it was knackered belt related because mines on 88k and has never had the aux belt changed (dont worry I'm getting it done asap) but if you have it too...
I've caught my 182 unlocking itself on a couple of occasions.... Or I'd come back to the car, blip the remote and find the car had just locked itself... made me think I was going nuts. My PH2 1.2 did it as well.
Is this amount normal to see or due to having the oil topped up the max? I just changed the oil and put a full 5 litres in and its 1-2mm above the max line on the dipstick. Do I need to get rid of the extra?
Nope its never been painted, just gunked up and corroded I think. It still works as a way to locate the plenum just the opposite way round... it rests on the hole in the inlet and pulls itself down as you tighten up the bolts. Not ideal but I'll sort it out when I can be arsed.
Old plugs were...
f**k me I just went flying backwards across the road. The locator pin was well and truly stuck onto the plenum. Used a bit of penetrating spray and pulled and pulled and weeee off I wen backward. Only problem is the locator pin in now part of the plenum not the engine, is that the way it's meant...
Currently stood in the driveway with everything disconnected and having no luck. Ive undone the top two bolts and the five along the bottom. In between the 2nd and 3rd inlet there is a small nipple like thing that is stopping it coming off.... Never heard the mentioned in any guides. I'm pulling...
I have exactly the same problem as you guys.. did you ever get round to cleaning it out? Did it fix it? I'm going to clean mine up tomorroe... I took the elbow off to have a quick look when I did the filter yesterday and there's some nice buildup to get rid of.
The two back ones go into holes either side of the coil pack, this is separate...
I've tried WD40 but the problem is actually getting the socket onto the nut! It won't grip in anything.
