0.06 * 6000 = £360 = £30/mo so surely for 12k a year the mileage overage isn't really that much of a concern. I'd happily pay that to have an in warranty car that I can do a 1000 miles a month in for £219 a month.
Edit: beaten like a *****.

Get them sent next day you'll have them by 8am... that is if they're not doing it today.
Edit: If they're charging £12 though its not really worth it.
I steward at Goodwood FOS every year and on the Saturday when all the incredibly rich folk turn up for the dinner reception at Goodwood House in their Bentleys and Ferraris etc, the BMW guys turn up. No idea who they are, probably execs or head of something UK. If you want a perfect of example...
Bought my 182 on 86,000 in august for £3800... now on 91,000. Full service history with original purchase invoice and every tax disc etc etc.
Non service costs?
£60 for a lambda sensor, fitted myself, and thats it.
It's much, much more reliable than my old 1.2 was. The high milers are a good...
My old 1.2 spent ages in and out of garages with cylinder 2 not working. No power... sometimes going into limp mode... sometimes cutting out... rattling like s**t...
Was a blocked injector.
I got my discount in store just waved my uni ID at them.

NJK PFR-6E10's are standard for the 182... so as a blanket statement for Clios... no, they do work well in some. I don't know what plugs they use in the 1.6 (8v?) & can't get Diagolys to work. I'll have a google.
Completely gut feeling uneducated guess........ Coilpack?
For what its worth...
2004 Clio 182... 90,000 miles... original clutch and no gearbox issues.
3 boring owners with long commutes will do that... got a feeling I haven't got long on the clutch though as I've been doing too much round town (London :( ) driving recently.
Gah that's annoying. I kinda guessed it would but hoped not.
I do the 12k service myself with genuine parts and Silkolene & oil change every 6k... about to change the front pads myself (again genuine Reno)... get anything more major done at a specialist.
Oh well, not looking to sell for 2ish...
Heres a hypothetical question for every one.
You're buying a car, and the guy says, its been serviced 12,000 miles (or 6,000 as I have been doing)... I do it myself, here's all the receipts for the bits... and he obviously knew what he was talking about and could talk you through it etc etc. Is...
It's fine if you take the fuel rail guard off... pretty much impossible to do without doing that though (unless you're a thin wristed female) so he must have done.
I got mine off just by twisting really hard by hand wearing rubber gloves.
Christ sorry nobody said a thing after my first post except agreeing with me, so I think 'cool maybe posting the invoice would be an idea seeing as they charged £207 for the £108 gates kit and took 8 hours to do it'... I post the invoice and everyone goes nuts. The price might be good but...
Cheap parts & 8 hours labour.
Sure, the jobs been done okay (by complete chance)... but when you could go somewhere proper and get genuine parts for the same money (and probably the aux belt kit for not much more) its worth telling people about is it not?
Ha f**k me. Noticed something whilst cleaning the sills in the engine bay. A Gates Powergrip sticker. They charged £207.45 for a non-genuine kit. Hah!
Time to name and shame. I might even call the previous owner and tell him to never go near them again.
How are the powergrip kits by the...

Put the car on ramps / stands... 5 mins of cursing and swearing with a 22mm spanner later... you'll have a perfectly running car again.
I had the exact same...
My 182 has a really complete service history from the first owner.. the second had the 72k service done at a local garage and I didn't notice they hadn't done the aux belt... I didn't know much about 182's when I was looking.
Looked at the invoice...Local garage... just the timing belt kit...
Yeah I think I've managed 35z
The gauge is really inaccurate, mine drops to 50% in 120 miles and then slowly goes down to the red, chills there for a bit & then warning light with 40 odd miles to go on the trip.
The trip computer is very accurate however, and the warning light is sub 40 miles...
