ha ha i looked wasted when i was munching away on my second pizza there lol but i didnt have no alcohol th whole weekend :S
a grand weekend away  whens the next????
you will need to break the beads on both sides to remove the tyre it is a royal pain in the rear to diy, you would be better off paying a tyre place to remove them which should cost £10 at the most
if you were local i would do it for nowt ;)
i fit these daily as i work for kwik-rip :o
i can conferm that they are not rotational or asymetrical
from what i am aware they are a noisey tyre had them on my rt for a week but sold them on due to the road noise
hth ;)
being a dynamique i am 99% certain it will have drums
i see this prob almost daily
more and likely it is fluid it will be black due to the build up of brake dust in the drum as the cylinder is at the top of the drum and the fluid will trickle down over the built up dust.
the fluid doesnt...
dave if you can, you could bring it to me and we can use the ramps at work plus the use of my tools. got quite a few of those bolts as well but not the renault ones.
been sorting various things out on my 5dr rt to get it through its mot as its been sat for 6 months and the tax is out at the end of the week so i need to sort it.
swapped a wheel with the spare of my 3dr to find the brakes like this
i was going to replace them anyway if it passed...
nankangs in 195/45 15 are horrible in the wet  but an ok budget tyre you get what you pay for
got pirelli p7s on there lots of grip
195/45's are the closest to std mk1 size 165/65,13 or 155/70,13
have you had an oil change recently?? if so could be the sump plug/washer
could be cracked sump/sump gasget
or even loose oil filter ive had that in the past from when i had an oil and filter change done at ats never going back there lol
allways get it done at kwik-fit now but only because i...
got the pirelli p7's same size on my rt been on there for 30,000 miles and still on 5mm  i dont drive it my old dear does :D
if your near swindon i will fit them and balance them for you for the cost of my average lunch which is £5 ;) thats for any amount of tyres
unfortunatly i work for the rip off scum :dapprove: but i can tell you that we cant get after market (patern parts) exhaust wise for the 172/182 and we always get main dealer parts last one i dealt with was £250 fitted on a 172 cup with a 3 year guarentee :D
at kwik-rip we torque alloys on mk2 clios to 105nm but there have been a few where we have to stand on a breaker bar to undo them as airguns ar not allowed to be used on wheel nuts anymore
dump them out the back of a tyre place when there closed they wont notice 2 or 4 its when we get cheeky gits dumping 100's out the back :dapprove:
i work for kwik fit btw (someone has to lol)
if your clio had 155/70 13's as standard 195/50 15's will be fine speedo wise
and if your clio had 165/65 13's as standard 195/45 15's would be better for a more accurate speedo
i have the 45's on my mk1 rt it did have 195/50's but the speedo was out buy about 5mph max so when they needed...
its ok i got my £300 for the car it was the day after i sold it it was torched new owner was not too happy tho
not keen on the tsw's either but at the end of the day its you that has to put up with them daily
they should fit as its the 4 x 100 you need it will be the holes that are closer together that you need
the et is about right but i am not to sure
i think you will need different bolts than standard to fit them but thats all
there you go on 195/45v15 pirellis
shame the tyres are worth more than the cars silver one is the one i have at the mo
i sold the white one after is got broken into day after it got torched :(
