If you payed a price you were happy with and got the car you wanted, then you got a good deal. Worrying about whether you've paid £500 too much is pointless - there will ALWAYS be someone who paid less.
Enjoy the car! :D
You'll be fine tbh. The RS Clios (more so the mk3's) are good car to step into tbh due to the lack of torque low down. They feel like a 1.4 until you rev the knackers off them making them very easy to get adjusted to.
It'll be Tv on a Canon.
It maybe that you don't have a fast enough lens - You might need some flash (or other light source) in order to expose the shot as you want and freeze the action.
No, they're definitely not. They're much more efficient fuel wise 'off cam' using light throttle inputs.
What I can tell you is that my 172 is better on fuel at 80mph than my Leon is lol
Not as long as I've got a hole in my arse. lol.
They're good value for the money, if you can stand the sight of it - They go for peanuts these days, it seems.
I can *just* hang on to my mates ST in my mildly modified 172*.
I find it very hard to believe that anything but a TB'd Cup would get anywhere near a tuned ST, never mind be a decent amount quicker.
As for fuel consumption, for what they are, they're bloody good. My missus was drving mine...
I just bought one form Aldi for £399. They do a 320GB model for £379.99 and also sell a 1TB external SATA HDD for £59.
Good spec, better than anything else for the money. Super fast too tbh. Only thing it doesn't have is bluetooth.. but pretty sure you can buy a dongle for about 10 pence these...
1) I'm not likely to want to sell my lungs to someone who doesn't smoke when I'm finished with them.
2) I don't share my lungs with anyone else. The same cannot be said for my house or car.
The two are completely incomparable. Nothing to do with caring for a car more than my health. I don't...
Sweet, cheers lads. Cheap part?
Bit fiddly? Is there anything on a Clio that isn't a bit fiddly?! lol
My car owes me a fair amount of knuckle skin already tbh.
Only it's not, really, is it? I can't remember the last time I sat in my lung for a couple of hours. Or my mum in the passenger lung complaining about the smell.
That's why I don't smoke in my house. I'm addicted to nicotine, and I enjoy the odd cigarette, but I don't want my house to smell...
Yeah, should be very little difference. Even if they are a tiny bit heavier, it's a small percentage of what is already a very small weight. They're only covered foam.
SRS?
I'm surprised. having seen your (rather swanky) pad and you driving a nice car, I thought you might be somewhat OCD your car for some reason.
FLOL! Instantly thought of bad Boys II lol
My mum hates my Clio. She hated it when it was new and standard. Now it's a bit lower and a bit noisier, she detests it. My missus is driving it atm as we're looking for a new car (got any Seat Leon's in, Dan?!) and she's actually embarrassed to drive...
Had a quick go on this tonight... I was quite impressed. Although it seemed to take aaaaages to load?
I'll say outright it's not as good as Forza. But, in fairness, that may be down to me struggling with the PS3 pad. The triggers seem to have the resolution of a f**king light switch lol.
182 Cup. I don't know if it's because of how let down I was when they released it. It had the potential to be better than the 172 Cup, yet what we got was a cheap 182. Doesn't make it pointless - As already pointed out the 182 Cup (and subsequent Cup models, it has to be said) made it easier...
