Basically the deal I was looking at when getting a new car this year was £278 a month for three years for a Cup and £4k at the end or £200 a month for two years for the loan for the Williams. If you add on fixing the williams it wouldnt be that far off. Plus the Williams might still be worth...
Evo on the cup The steering still isnt as sharp and talkative as a clio williamss you could of saved a lot of money there.
Just stiring ;) but thought it might get a nice minging gold wheels type argument going...

I read in a mag that a mate brought back from America that they give a tyre a rounder profile to give a more progressive characteristic by fitting tyres wider than the rim is meant to have. They had an evo 6 with the same tyres front and rear but narrower rear rims to give a more progressive tail...

Does anyone know where I can get the geometry spec for a Williams. Ever since I had the tracking done I swear it understeers more. The place just seemed to want to get everything pointing straight and they took quite a bit of toe off. Cheers for any replies.
I just got rinsed by a Saxo Westcoast on 17s a Nova 1.3Sri and a Panda 4x4 with Wings West kit they were loads faster in a straight line and better in corners, the williams never stood a chance...
Just thought Id be different. Everyone can look in a magazine and a good few can read, so...
VTRs are well good value for money, really grippy and amazing turn in if a little loose at the back but loads of fun. My mate nearly cried when I raced him off some lights though. The Supercharger is on the way...

Just wondering if anyone saw the clio super 1600 at the rally. Sounded sweet, Id just put the video camera away as well which was gutting as he was shifting, all the Dutch guys next to us started running cause he left his braking later than anyone else, Mcrae and Solberg included.

To turn a gti-6 into a rallye just leave your steering lock at home, the rallye is just down air con and nice seats, saves 10kgs looks minging. Nice stickers down the side though!!! They werent that much cheaper than the gti-6s when I looked, got that motorsport not buying it for the air-con...

My mates GTi-6 is very slightly quicker in a straight line despite being heavier (new transmissions make a lot of difference), looks a whole lot nicer inside, sounds better, is roomier, fairly similar handling bit more adjustment on throttle, brakes are amazing, gearbox quite long throw, great...

Anders how is the magnex? I am about to order one. Does it fit well? At the moment I have a cheap (speed steel) exhaust on and it is just loud and boomy, I want something that sounds nice but doesnt make your ears bleed on the motorway. The current exhaust makes me sound like a Nova but it...

James, just to say Id like to hear what you think of whatever you go for. At the moment Ive got some cheap system (speed steel) on and it just sounds loud and boomy, no real growl to it, I sound like some Nova boy. I was thinking Magnex cause my housemates five has a full magnex and burbles...
I have only got experience of these on hire cars and I have to say that they are downright dangerous in the wet, you should get them changed straight away. My favorite moment was getting full opposite lock (to the bump stop) on a corsa following a transit van (bit of roll but otherwise he...

As I saw it the main difference is the 1 gets you a little gold plaque, the two has a few trim revisions and the 3 gets ABS, buy on condition more than 1,2 or 3. Having a corsa hire car for a month last year, after someone drove into my golf, and now having a williams one I reckon youll like...

Ive got a Williams and the last owner put a cat back stainless system on it, its a cheap one the sticker says speed steel. Problem is I have to do quite a lot of motorway miles and it is just too boomy. So the choices are either to swap it for a standard exhaust or find an aftermarket one that...
