    Leaking gearbox

Common faults lay around the ns driveshaft as this hold the gearbox oil and also the gear selector input shaft. Both fairly easy fixes I guess. Check these two first!

Getting ready to book the 172 in for belts and dephaser, was wondering if it's worth changing the water pump too or is this not going to be needed as such? Price quoted from Ktec is £761.60 for all belts, dephaser and water pump supplied and fitted

Bulbs seems to have good reviews tbh - never heard of flames from a xenon bulb tbh - if they pop it's just game over for the bulb. Couldn't sell them of they we're dangerous... And a 5 year warranty too.

I'm putting the OMP steering wheel back on as I'm having trouble with the airbag lights anyway so ill just resistor them. Or is there a connecter I plug into the red crimp for the...

Morning guys, working on the project 172 yesterday, replaced the rear discs and pads but on the handbrake it doesn't appear to be holding the wheel very tight - I haven't checked if it's actually working fully on braking yet or even bled them. Could this be a need to tighten the handbrake or...
