i wasnt there but i know Jayson the guy who owns chipped UK, he is based just outside birmingham yes. Hes a top bloke, had quite a few of my BMW's chipped and remapped by him, my current everyday car (528i se, uprated throttle body, inlet manifold, induction kit, running on 20" alloys) is...
id be tempted to stick with the ITG panel filter and jump on our 'k-tec' exhaust group buy, then either go for the sports cat or BenR's inlet manifold work, be a little more than £400 but worth it no doubt?
well if you do decide to sell you can buy my 52 reg 172 cup after ive finished repairing a few panels, as its on the register it will be down right DIRTY cheap! lol well within reason! lol
well it looks good dutty, i was just pulling out of the texaco garage in my courtesy car as you drove past. As for Harty? never heard of him so i guess that would be a no! anymore warrington or local meets coming up soon? hoping my cup will be ready in the next 2 weeks, if not i'll have to see...
personally i feel if you get a good independant dealer who you trust their work is of a better standard than that of a renault dealership so when your warrenty is up id take it to a reputable indy. As long as you can ring up the garage that has done the services to ask about the car and to...
well its not a renault specialist but my mums company has all their cars done there, 10 BMW's (all new), various mercs and the boss's Aston DB7 and they really know their stuff, good prices. they are the type of garage that has such a reputation that they can pick and choose what work they want...
a black clio, sport badges, 17's, exhaust, looked very nice seen driving past the TExaco garage around 1pm this afternoon, last 3 reg letters ......WUC i think? anyone on here?
i had a powerflow on my old fiesta 2.1ZVH, the quality was superb but the person who had it fitted went for a too large bore exhaust and it was wayyy too loud, grating even especially on steady long trips!
id be up for a group buy on the stealth exhaust, i want one for my 52 reg cup! how many does that make for the group buy list? lets get it sorted and see how many we can get and see how much discount they will give us. while we are at it why dont we ask about a discount for a package including...
my brother and most of my family (including cousins) are in the police and they get 100's of people reporting crimes similar to the ones described here. The basic jist is that they send a bankers draft, sometimes a legitimate one, even the wary can be caught out even if they ring the issuing...
buy one of the cleaning kits for the particular brand your filter is, it generally involves gently tapping out the bigger particles trapped in the filter, then applying a degreasing agent spray that cleans away the oil and washes out the dirt, then a gentle rinse (from the top side that is...
wow! now thats what im talking about! love the light grey/silver colour, thats what anthracite is to me and thats defo what im going to get on my blue cup! gorgeous! cheers ears!
just been on the phone to the guys who do all of my wheel refurbing and they can do my turini cup alloys in anthracite, including a full blast, clean and machine and clear coat for £30 per wheel! i wouldnt mind seeing what they look like on a mondial blue cup? anyone with pics?
i can vouch for these guys, Neil down there really knows his stuff and can get some great gear at even greater prices! picked up a van load of parts last wednesday and they are all either brand new gen renault or mint as new. quality shop.
give clio spares in wolverhampton a ring, a front bumper in good condition around £100, front wing brand new gen renault £45, paint is around £47 a litre. id be tempted to paint it all myself if you have a dry and relatively warm garage or workshop, done it millions of times on my fiestas. in...
i find it quite interesting that people are almost scared and afraid of driving their 172 cups during winter. in my experience its not that different from any car, you push any car in the wrong areas, conditions and it will be off into a hedge! so i think its more to do with the driver rather...
like i said sometimes if the battery isnt 100% and there is battery drain it can only take a few hours for it to be drained sufficiently to disable the starter motor. either trickle charge it, buy a new one, or jump it with a constant charge from a another car after 5mins or so.
i have no idea as to renaults but with my old BMW, it only took 5-10mins with both terminals disconnected to reset the ecu. the alarm should be fine as suggested as it will have a back up battery and memory or else what would happen everytime you had to change the battery etc... if its a standar...
well the car will be used for fun weekend driving and days out not everyday (in theory) so a good set of rubber would be good so i can have a little fun. ive had uniroyal rainsports before and they were an awesome tire in damp wet conditions and really good in the dry too and for the price (£50)...
ive had them on my bmw's too and i really do like them, especially when you look at the price too. im asking as my 172 cup is a little bit more specialised and so i dont want to scrimp on tyres, im very tempted with a new set of uniroyal rainsports especially over winter? suggestions?
how did you jump start? ive just wrote a response to a similar question on here, i had this prob with my BMW's for years, sometimes there can be excess battery drain from things like audio systems, alarms etc.. and the battery gets sapped. even if you try a jump start it doesnt work so looks...
just wondered what people thought of the Nankang NS2's, i loved them on my fiesta 2.1 ZVH beast and they were really grippy with 190bhp+, anyone had them on here?
Have you looked at your battery? is it an old one or is it pretty new? ive had this problem on my BMW's for years, everyone always says its your starter motor, which sometimes can be a contributing factor, but 9times out of 10 its the fact the battery doesnt have enough charge to whip over the...
