I regularly drive rental cars in the south of France and can safely say the roads are pretty damn good. Even down to the small winding mountain roads that lead to the village where my house is they are regularly maintained. Would love to drive an RS over there, especially on that mountain road...
Sh!te, its actually any of the other arrow keys. What it does is rotate the screen display through 90 degrees so everything is turned on its side or upside down ;)
Its the Renault Wind. Was unveiled in 2004 and was supposed to go into production but sadly didnt. Shame, cos if it were nicely priced I might just have bought one :o
I believe the toyos are an 84V rated tyres, both in the PX4 and T1Rs. IIRC the PE2 is 91V?? Open to correction though. I personally swear by the Continental Sport Contact 2 tyres, though its the Contact 3 used on the 197. Id get the spacers to widen the track slightly and get the wheels...
The wheels in the chop look more coppery colour than capsicum red. Maybe its just my eyesight. How about mounting the red one you have on the car and take a piccy so we can all see and help you decide?
Excellent work though, looks like a very even finish. Wanna spray mine for me :o
I like it, but then I also like the non RS Megane Mk3, especially since I have driven one. The only thing I dont like about the 250 is the wheels. They are pure w*nk but then thats why we have turinis :approve::cool:
Try the natural light setting mate. Theres a similar setting on my camera and it plays with the settings of the aperture etc to take advantage of a low light scene without using the flash. Ive found that the flash on point and click cameras isnt good enough for longer range shots or such...
You havent been in my car have you ;)
Thanks for the info mate, exactly what I needed to know. Which means, its a no go cos I dont think the ARB is long enough for the Mk3, though I could be wrong. Cost sounds prohibitive though.
Well, firstly thanks for the input guys. I want to change cos Im not feeling the best performance from the brakes. Theres a lot of fade, and I know its quite common with OEM brakes. Ive been thinking about a brake upgrade as I want to do a track day before the end of the year following on...
WB is white balance. I dont know if you have that on your camera? If you have a custom setting on the dial then chances are you can change the aperture, exposure and WB settings.
I took this when I was in America. Im using a Fuji FinePix S9500 and it was on the auto setting. I had the lense out to maximum which was 300mm. Im gonna have to try some night time shots soon.
Hi,
Just wondering if a set of brake discs off a 182 will fit my Mk3 1.4 without any issues? Or would I be better off getting a full brake set up such as calipers and pads? My worry is that the hubs might need changing, but since both cars are 4 stud, I just need to be sure before I start...
Very very nice car! The only thing I dont like is the spoiler tbh. Good to hear you are getting the wheels done in anthracite, the red cars look fantastic with the wheels done in that colour :approve:
The sensor is in one of the wing mirrors, I cant remember which side on the Mk2 but its driver side on the Mk3. Its either a faulty sensor or loose connection.
The system needs to be flushed, cleaned and regassed along with replacing all the filters. Musty smell is telltale signs that the system has never been touched.
Hi Sara, Ive a Mk3 1.4 and the last one I had before this gave the same problem. Renault replaced my coil pack AND lambda sensor but thankfully for me it was under warranty. Lambda sensors arent cheap Im afraid. Its safe to drive for now but the car will use a lot more fuel than normal and...
Nokia E65 is a great phone, Ive also got an N78 and a 6220. Both good phones but I prefer the N series phones. 6220 has an epic camera though :approve:
