Not a powerflow fan, and not really keen on a noise machine my last car was quick and silent, i couldnt go to a noisy slower car..... May be persuaded for a magnex twin oval backbox, if its the same price, I do understand 172's get through exhaust's like dinners though, I do 5000 miles a year...

Hey guys, my backbox has 90% become severed from the mid-pipe, due to errosion by the looks of it, crap design etc etc, but it also apears ive lost the support which keeps the backbox suspended do I need to get this from renault? Also how much for a replacment backbox 172 02?

Im not being funny, but why not just ditch the stripes and lights and transform your car's looks by 200% for the better? Would'nt have any cost to yourself, IMO its ruined at the moment

Hey guys, My new 172 was in the garage for 3 weeks, all repairs complete but they cant start her.... its turning over so dont think its the alternator, but just wondering if its something to do with the immob? Havent tried the 2nd key yet, battery has been charged overnight, and jump leads...

Not sure mate, but the wing mirror adjuster control is the oposite way around, turn the knob left to adjust right mirror etc a sign maybe?

Hi guys, Just bought a lovely 172 from a chap off here... thing is, im confused, cars rev counter does not have the red dashed zone above the limiter and seems to rev to 7600 on the clock? Has this been remapped or did the earlier 172 mk2's do this anyway? its a 2002 51 plate and the shift...

hi all, ive been interested in a mk1 for some time now, not wanting to spend over 5-6k really the mk1 front end i like very much i thought this seems like a nice car to go for I used to own a 150bhp 106gti so i like my hot hatch's ive found a 2000 W example ... slightly on the high...

There are many non turbo mr2s with different outputs from 1990-2000... lowest being the early 119bhp gt which is pats... however the rev4 later ones put out 179bhp, which are pretty decent to be fair, id think it would do a valver..... turbo is where the funs at though

HAHA, I dont know... I love my 106... it can hold its own with a 172... capable of 15 dead up the 1/4 .. but im after something that does not rattle and shake... toys etc ...

Ive never been in a 172.... I think I might have to go drive one... ive had a go of a CTR though, and that was fairly impressive, the 106 dash aint that bad... better than the paxo one imo
