Not yet, but gonna get something cheap to run around in, 1.7TD Cavalier in the paper for 250 quid, 6 months MOT/Tax, might get that.
Am I missing soe subtle humour? What bit?
So Quaife would make you an ATB custom jobbie? Any ideas on how much this would cost, seeing as my box just gave up on me Im gonna get a Willy box and an ATB would be a nice addition.
Was drving down the motorway yesterday when my valver started jumping out of 5th, would go back in at first but in the end I ended up driving in 4th all the way home, then just as I was getting close to home, mile or less, it started making a horrible scrapping noise, like metal grinding on...
Yeah, the New M3 (E46) is SERIOUSLY quick!!!! Dont even think about racing one, I suppose Nick might have a chance once his turbo conversion is finished and running high boost, but I bet hed still struggle.

I think the 330 is the best beemer to race in the fact in the hardest to beat that you can actually beat if you see what i mean, an M3 would anhilate you.

Ben,
Cheers for the info on that billet crank, shame I aint got that sorta cash at the mo
Im really intrested in what Nicks saying though as this could effect my/our plans.
There are differences in the F7R and F7P blocks, as they have different starter motors and the F7R block has clearence machinings so the long stroke crank doesnt foul the block, but the heads are identical with the exception of the F7R having 32mm inlets instead of 30mm.
Like Viceroy says its based on how much wieght the average horse can lift, when James Watt started making comercial steam engines he needed something to compare them to, the obvious choice was horses. So he got a bunch of th biggest horses he could find, mesured how much wieght they could lift...
Not saying your wrong Nick, but Ive done 0-60 in 7.3secs in my (as far as I know) standard valver without using N2O, that was using proper external timing gear, so either Im darn good, hehe, my cars one of the quick ones or the timing gear was bust.

What Clio are you talking about putting it in? Putting an F-series engine (1.8/2.0 16V) into anything but a 16v or a Williams is gonna be very hard, time consuming and costly.
The R5 GTT lump can be made to fit relativly simply though in the lesser models.
