It might fit the 182 mate. I was only quoting K&N saying cable throttle only, they may have said this as using it the 172mk2 and 182 would mean removing the acoustic valve and that isnt something K&N could recommend for some reason. It this is the reason then fit one as the acoustic valve...

IIRC they come with a special jacket like thing over the filter to protect it from the elements, all you would have to do to clean is pop open the vent under the fog, remove the sleeve/jacket thing, wash, dry and replace i imagine anyway. i am looking into getting one

Price of the inlets is about £200ish. If your having a re-map to sort out the fueling then have a word to nick at hillpower about the uprated fuel regulator pump thingy me bob (i am not to technical). He has been fitting these to correct the fueling and is seeing really good gains with them...

Spoke to hill power today and got it booked in for matching, pledium (cant spell it) and instead of the remap was recommended to have their uprated feul regulator instead, giving the same improvments as a remap for fueling but at the fraction of the cost. Hopefully should see some nice gains...

About the same as a viper m8, bit cheaper maybe. Not sure if its worth it as not seen any tests on the with a 172 engine. Maybe you could get it RR before and after?? :) Either way let us all know what you think of them if you get one

Hi all Thinking about getting some trophy wheels for the 172. Question is how would the trophy offset of 45 sit on my 172 mk2 FF (think my offset is 48?? correct me if i am wrong. Will these get any rubbing? it is lowered on sportlines. Cheers guys, Need a quickish answer please
