Won't be any competition by next week when it's stanced right ;) plus I'm not a fan of the whole rep thing, it's a non sport and I like it that way, not slating yours though, looks tidy, like the way you've gone with it :)
I didnt really notice the conditions in the vid, just looked like he was constantly battling with the oversteer, never the less it looks bloody good fun!

Hi guys,
just a quick one, does anybody know the size of clamp i need for this? I know my exhaust bore is 2" but i'm unsure as to whether the clamp is measured on this or the outside diameter of the whole clamp.
Thanks in advance.
Keiran.
Friend of mine had one of these, great little car, nippy, but not as fuel efficient as you would think! His had a few problems with the gearbox though, got stuck in 3rd a few times iirc.

Read the above if worse comes to worst, was what i did with mine.
That wouldve been mine :) his is a 172 rep IIRC just with the full sport kit. Whats the deal with getting the arches rolled on these? looks as though the'yd have to chop into the bumper also to gain the full effect as where the bumper comes to a point to meet the arch it looks quite a bad...
The pic over exagerates it due to the angle, if your stood behind the car you can only just see the silver lip on the outside of the arch, and FYI the spacers were only trialed and tested quickly until i discovered the rubbing, arch rollings tempting, would i need to camber it aswell to get the...
I see, im presuming the differences would be mainly in the diamteres needed for the bushes? its just from what ive seen of the 1*2's dogbone they look pretty similair to mine in the pic above.
Basically im trying to get a better stance as im fed up of my wheels being tucked inside the arches so much, i recently bought some 15mm spacers to push them out abit more and loved the look of them on the car, the only downside is its rubbing the tyre walls (165s on 7j so a nice bit of stretch)...
Basically i'd like to powerflex my dogbone mount and ive been unable to find any info on doing it to a 1.6, what im wondering is if its the same as the 172's mount? as i'd then be able to buy a second hand one do the bush work and sling it straight on without any hassles.
Heres a pic of mine ...
