Cheers guys, the Alpine I have I think is about 5 years old, but I'll have a look at the surround before I do head off to Halfords.
Is there anything I need to look out for when I put the original head unit back in?
Does anybody know where I can get the release keys for an Alpine head unit (mine is a few years old)
As I've just sold the 182 I'll need to take it out and stick the original one back in.
Is there anything to look out for when putting the original one back in, I imagine it should be...
Not using it enough and I'm spending all the time on the motorways, so I'm looking to get a diesel and an older hot hatch for the weekends.
It's a great car, but I can't afford to run it as a 2nd car.
Is there anyway to connect a New Road Angel to a PDA to use it as a Sat Nav system? I have the Road Angel, but not the PDA.
Has anybody tried this or know of any way to do it?
I'm just wondering if its normal for the 182 to have lumpy idling. Its like you can feel the engine being lumpy. Its not apparent when the car is cold, and once on the move its fine. It is not close to cutting out or anything, its just not particularly smooth. I'm running optimax BTW, but I've...
Sky are launching next year, but are already recording stuff (sports etc) in HD so they will have an archive to call on. All football will be HD once it's launched.
BBC are starting to experiment with HD, but budget as ever is too high at the moment, but I think they are launching a service...
none yet! Almost brought by Silverstone, but booked a flight to LA instead! I'm going to have a look when it's nearer the time. Although I might end up selling them again as I'm trying to work out if I can afford a project car by April.
If it's not a Clio I'll sell them..
It's an intermittant problem, and I did have the technician out with me and I couldn't make it happen again. I left it with them for the night and they couldn't make it happen. As soon as I drove off, before I'd left the forecourt it happened again. I doubt how much they actually checked it. So...
My car has the same sort of issues, and it's an '05 182, but my knocking sound only happens when the car is just started up from cold. The front wheel feels like it's slipping, almost like you are trying to put in a screw with no thread left in the head.
Cheers for that mate, took it to Slough and guess what. "Nothing wrong with your car"!! I've now booked it in with Delta, so I'll see what they have to say about it all
Does anybody know anywhere I can look for freelance 3d Studio Max designers? I've tried the Discreet forums and Creative Cow but I'm in a rush so I would like to widen my search...
But it never happen before, left it standing for just under 2 weeks, came back and it's there. I would have noticed it beforehand as I always have to back out of my parking space!!
Bit of an odd one this, but from cold, when I'm on full lock it feels like the wheels are slipping and there is a banging through the steering wheel.
It almost feels like the drive shaft is struggling to make full contact with the wheel. But once the car is a little warmer, it goes away.
Not...
Just spoken to Renault in Slough to book my car in for some work under warranty and they are saying if they can't find a fault with the car they will have to charge me £49.94. Is this standard across all Renault dealers or have they just made this up at Slough?
I'm hesitant to take it in now...
Same here with mine, but it just doesn't feel right. Spent the last 2 weeks driving something much heavier and it felt so much better. I've got to take mine back into Renault soon to have a look at something else, might see if they think it's ok.
Don't remember anything of the K-reg, and I was of about 2 cars on the track at the end! Had about 30 minutes of peace and quiet! Apart from one mad Evo 4!
Saving the car until the end might be the way to go as lots of people seem to have left by then
