On valver/willy. Is it to help cooling the engine? If you put a normal bonnet on a valver would it run too hot?

Does the RSi have rear disks? And does a 16v have a wider track than a 1.4? Also proportionally, how much work do the rear disks actually do? If I kept rear drums and fitted big front disks, would that be ok for a big increase in power ie transplant? How much work in swapping rear beam?

Ok what are the issues involved with buying a stolen/recovered car? Apart from it being worth less when I come to sell it, what are the main disadvantages? What should I look out for / be aware of? And do you think it is even worth considering? Cheers

Out of interest how much should you be looking at paying to have a 16v engine fully rebuilt?

My koni shocks came about 10 mins ago so I am going to fit them now. The thing is the instructions say not to use with springs that lower the car by any more than 35mm I currently have 55mm srpings at the front and dont really want to buy new ones - But I will if it is going to knacker...

Can somebody please tell me all or any of the differences between a 16v/willy front shock absorber and that found on a 1.4 RT etc Basically I have a 1.4S which seems to have a strange hub bolt distance and I cant find aftermarket shocks to fit. I was wondering if 16v shocks would go on. Cheers
