who said the same petrol cost as an M3, they do 18-20mpg driving like a granny.
My old mans slk 350 can't even get above 25mpg with the engine off!!!!
Any were near 30mpg for a close to 200bhp car is fecking good.
Buy a durv if you want 40+mpg and a tractor sound track.
I think it does help driving a faster car. When I went to insure the old mans slk 350 they asked me what car I drive and because I had a high insurance group car with no claims the premium was over £700 cheaper to add me but it was still £1300 to add me as a driver lol.

When you change rear disks there a small washer that you put on the back to stop it from fauling on the abs sensor. does it matter which way you putit on???
I wanted the sport beam as well. It has made a big difference to stopping distance about 20-30 feet from 60mph also the first time ever I have had the abs kick in on the back wheels in an emergency stop. (That distance was with chalk and eyes but it was alot better)
OK I changed my drums to disks this afternoon and can confirm that it is possible and that the ABS still works correctly!!!!!
You need to make sure all the abs rings match and thats about it.
So Yes you can swap drums for disks no problem.
