I had a look, couldnt tell from what side each was coming from.
Its f**king freezin out side so I'll have to check again.
If the sensors plug into each other which they do but dont match side wize il just swap them round, simpl's !!!

How would you go about doing that as the drum ABS sensors are completely different from the disk sensors as drum ABS rings are different to disk rings.
However both would need to create the same voltage relative to wheel speed, so I cant see how it makes any diffrence

Ok, sometime this week I will be replacing my 1.4 beam, with one from a 172.
I know that the biggest problem will be with the ABS.
I've done some reading on how abs works.
It works along the lines that a magnetic sensor picks up the teeth on the ABS ring which changes the magnetic field of...
To remove an ABS ring use a flat blade screw driver and hammer it into the edge of the ABS ring between the disc an the ring.
Do this all the way around the ring.
Then turn the driver 90° doing this all the way around the ring.
Then do the same as above with a bigger flat blade.

I have acquired a 172 rear beam and brakes to go on my 172 conversion which still has drums.
Major thing was getting the right abs rings and getting them off - new one on.
Well as I already have a beam with discs, thought I’d have a practice at getting the abs rings off.

Ok, I’ve put the ph2 dash in my ph1, fitted fine all the major stuff works BUT.
I don’t have any lights on the heater, fan speed unit. The fan speed heater controls all work just no lights :(
