My 182 came from Wests of Cambridge too. Apart from a loads of kids running riot in a Scenic when i was trying to do the deal, a top service all round.
Where abouts you from?
Guy at work has one in Blue. This was the first one ive seen in the flesh. First thing that struck me was how huge the tyres looked compared to my 182.
The onboard trip computer on my 172, used to give me about 4mpg better when using Optimax over supermarket fuel.
Although ive never verified this manually.
Dont know about my 182 as i dont intend to ever put 95 in it ;)
I cant see a LED type thing on my 182. maybe im not looking in the right place, but its not obvious if im missing it.
Why would i want to air condition my glove box? Apart from if i had a pair of smelly socks/pants in the car. and wanted to freshen them up before a hot date.

My 172 always dribbled. It would leave limescale marks down the bumper which overtime would be a nightmare to remove.
I think its a feature of the car ;)
I brought my 182 when I got the money through, which was tied up in my devorce.
So i have the ex Mrs Woof and a scuba diving instructor in the Maldives to thank.
Buying the 182 was the best way to spend tainted money from a divorce, and in a fun way.
So a simple answer to your question...
Its insurance chaos with the 182.
My first quote with Direct Line told me there would be NO difference between a 182 and a 182 with Cup Packs. The only difference is a rise of £20-ish due to the fact the car is newer and its a 182.
When i called back to take out the policy, i spoke to a...
I have Pilot 2s on my 172, which are about 6 months old.
Would i be right in thinking, when these were fitted, this would have been the only version on the Pilot 2 available?
Hopefully i will pick my 182 (with cup packs) up this week, which should have the Pilot 2s with the Stiffer side...

I find cleaning my car therapeutic and quite relaxing on a Sunday morning, whilst nursing a hangover.
Looks like id better make sure i have lots of hangovers
;)
You can get the blue without the stickers. The stickers cost £295 as an optional extra.
They seem kinda expensive to me for what they are.
Hopefully, Im picking up my Black/Gold 182 this weekend. Its the first black car ive ever owned and im a little concerned how easy it will be to keep...
I would never make my mind up about whether or not to buy a a car from a TV critic.
Dont get me wrong i like Top Gear as a TV show, its great Car related entertainment.
The opinions from friends and owners is far more important. People who have to live with the cars and their quirks every...

Whats with the rear spoiler. It has the cup pack as it has the front splitter, but the rear spoiler looks like a regular black one.
[Edited by Woof on 10 June 2004 at 1:53pm]
It could have a Sat Nav in i suppose, as you cant have the cup spoiler pack with Sat nav.
