If you hadnt already have been warned, would youve noticed the cops before the unit alerted you?
Would it have given you enough notice to slow down to 30?
I brought a set too. I like that the rear mats are one long solid mat that goes from one side to the other.
That way they dont move about and slide up under the seat when you have people in the back.
How does your cars speedo compare with the speed displayed on your B2?
My car seems to be a constant 2mph higher than the B2 unit.
Just wondering how this compares to others.
That when i select reverse gear on my Mk2 172, the rear wipers turn on automatically.
Nice touch...;) I wonder what other little hidden extras enginners put time in effort into deveolping, but go missed by the less observant muppets like me.
The trip computer shows i average around 35mpg, although i have never double checked this by calculating it manually.
My 172 is cheaper to run than my MGF was.
Go on do it....the little extra you may pay is more than made up by the 172 being such a fun car :D
No i done it in the cold.
I heated my ClioSport sticker before i applied it tho.
I used a stanley knife blade to get under one edge of the elf sticker, then it peeled off.
After buying my ClioSport window sticker, i thought while i was at it, i would remover the Reno Elf sticker and the Dealers sticker from the rear window.
The dealers sticker came off easy, but the Elf sticker was a little bugger to remove.
I eventually got him off, but it also took some of...
The running costs of my mates Calibra was huge, it cost him a fortune in fuel.
Vauxhall seems to be the only manufacturer that can consistantly make me feel travel sick in their range of cars.

Did have nice coloured Renaultsport stitching on the seats though - better than the boring grey on the Mk2s.
And a better audio controls on the steering wheel, the mk2 controller is too small and too fiddly.
Ahh, lowestoft.
Happy hour at Notleys then off to Hanks, then a long walk back to Pakefield caravan park, and Sunday lunch at Alans ;)
Im not from Lowey, but my mates parents have a caravan at Pakefield. Had some good nights out in lowey last year.
Just recieved my registration document for my new 172.
Apparently, from the 1st Jan 2004 the old style V5 has been replaced by the new V5C document to harmonise with Europe.
Kinda colourful and big. Didnt know they were planning on doing this.
Im not sure how the link between the PDA and the B2 would work.
They advertise the cable in the user manual, but my manual says it is available at a later date.
I think updates are free for six months, then £50 a year for updates.
You have to regsister your unit on the Origin website, to be able to download updates. The B2 unit keeps track of when your subscription expires.
The GPS (sat Nav) unit is a small black square attached to miles of cable...
There are no Shell garages near me, so i always fill up with Opimax given the chance when im out and about.
Not sure if i rate BP Ultimate though. Unlike running on Optimax i dont notice the difference over 95.
Does Total do an Otipmax/Ultimate version?
