Mine isn't that loud, but I do get sick of the extra petrol I have to buy due to booting the car to hear the exhaust rev. :D
Wouldn't want it any other way. I'm going to try and make it louder next year I think.
Thats very interesting. Christ knows how much that all costs from Renault. I guess around £500 including the airbag?
The 182 steering wheel is £350. I had to laugh when I was quoted that price. May see how much a retrim is.
This is f**king ridiculous. There are 405 people with the same problem and Renault still won't acknowledge that whatever they put on the steering wheel isn't real leather.
Pretty sure that they won't as it uses a different steering boss or something. Damn shame as my steering wheel is starting to f**k up. Stupid fake leather.
I said thanks in my original post Steve.
Well, I'm not too sure, but the chaps put the driveshaft back into the gearbox and connected it together, and it appeared to be okay. It needs a new inner cv boot, and more annoyingly the whole offside of the car needs to be painted. This is due to...
Sorry I wasn't more specific. The retaining bolt for the lower suspension arm came off my car last night, meaning that the wheel became disconnected and the driveshaft came out of the bloody gearbox. I was just asking questions in case I had to get legal, but luckily the garage that replaced...
Could someone tell me what the process is for removal of an old cv boot to replace it with a new one? As in the stages of what you'd need to. I'd assume removal of the wheel first.
Its the offside I'm interested in if that matters.
Many thanks.
Just read through this thread and its absolutely fantastic what you're doing.
I think that should you should paint it red again just for prosperity. Although I don't really care that it isn't a trophy anymore I'm just not that big a fan of white cars.
Good job! :D
You think you're missing yours! I've been without mine for 5 months! I've only got another 5 days in America and then I'll be reunited with the damned thing.
You going to be driving down to Dorset to have it fitted Ben? Let me know how it goes as I might be doing the same to get mine serviced when I get back.
Justin, can't say that I know you, but you need a tubi decat on that thing and in your life. It will transform the car.
I much prefer the original to the new 560. I hate the way they shortened the headlights and the way the back end isn't broken up as much. Looks a lot more purposeful on...
