I particularly like the last comment!
"Most fun car I ever had was a '99 RT DTi 1.9 Laguna.
A real headturner, and burnt off many a car that SHOULD have been much faster than her ;-)" .. riiiiight!
haha, racing a Saab? hardly worth the effort is it? certainly not worth a ban!!
Paul, my parents live in Selston so I'm often out your way, never seen an inferno on the road tho!
Depends on my financial/family situation, could be a few years yet tho. Loving the looks of the Alfa Mi.To and hoping for a hot version, always fancied the Z4 (call me quentin, I'll do you a lovely perm..) too.. Otherwise likely to be a family bus, but hope that will be a good few years yet!
Its the mark, denotes trim, similarly RL, RN etc.. Common modern equivalent would be things like L, S, LX, SX, etc. Not sure what the RT trim was, probably a different colour gearknob or something..
Excellent idea. Cheers. Was worried about what to use as the plastic/metal effect lettering seems pretty low grade and i didnt want to dissolve anything!!
Think when mine was new someone left the plastic protective stuff stuck on the renaultsport strip in the bottom of the doorframe (its the only explaination i can think of!) as there is a dull sticky residue stuck on it like when you take the label off a jam jar. Tried washing up liquid and a few...
Fair enough, just wanna be careful he doesn't get advised to do anything that lands him in the brown stuff!
Seriously tho, hope you get it sorted Tom. In future, when you change your car on your policy, your insurer will often allow you to reinsure the old car for a short period on the same...
Eh?
Generally the terms for DOC are that you can drive any other car TPO provided:
a. It is not owned, hired or leased by yourself.
b. It is seperately insured by its owner to drive.
c. You have permission from the owner to drive the car.
Planning on keepin my 182 for the forseeable future. Hoping to move in the missus in August and no plans yet but i prob wont change the car until a few yrs down the line when I need a bus.. eep..
NCD can be upto 2 yrs old before it is invalid. Some insurers will consider longer if they were your last insurer. Some companies may also take into account your company insurance and combine it with your prev ncd to give a better bonus. All is not lost my friend!
Probably. First port of call should be the comparison websites, prob not worthwhile doing until your renewal tho as you'll lose the months ncd you've built up so far.
