Indeed. Odds are if the valver is sat in a garage with the wrong engine in it and you are using your doc to drive your parents vehicle then they will never realise, but to do it legit, it should be declared.
Yeah, got you wrong, but the policy needs to be set up legit, ie with any mods declared for any part of the policy, including the doc, to be valid. Double check with your insurer, I just know that for the company I work for, your policy will be majorly invalid the moment there is an undisclosed...
