My battery light and stop light came on the other day. I checked the voltage at the battery and it was 11.4V. I decicded it needed a new one so went out to buy one today.
Fitted it and the voltage is now at 12.28V running. The problem is the battery and stop light have not cleared?

My passenger side washer jet is leaking. I am ok to change it on my own. Took the arch liner off and am confident it can be took off without removing the bumper. I assume the rubber hose is just pushed onto the washer jet its not clipped in place or anything?
I have crimped the rubber hose...
take the key off your key ring and slide it forward there are two grooves on the end away from the cut key end. slide the cover off with the push button away from the cut key section. then your in you will see the button battery.
i had it before on mine that one of the clips that holds the button battery in had snapped therefore it wasnt making a proper connection. i used blue tack to fix it in position :p
If you fit a themrocouple (temp probe) into the coolant system and then have a gauge on your dash you can read the temp anyway. switch on/ off as please but surely it be easier to use the thermostat?
if that thing in the middle is a relay it should be drawn like so: much easier to read. (odviously the contact is normally open - N/O)
I assume you are going to wire it as above. This does not use the ECU as drawn
am i right in saying the higher the mV value the richer the car is running and the lower the mV valve the leaner it is running? or is it the other way round?

the rev increase after the coolant has reached a certain temp:
<75 deg C = 6700rpm
> 75 deg C = 7200 rpm in 1st and 2nd gear
>75 deg C = 7000 rpm for 3rd 4th and 5th
Its not off oil temp.
The light comes on 300 rpm below the maximum rpm in that gear depending on temp
spin the disc with the wheel off and see if it runs smooth. If you have a dial gauge you could check the runout on it i.e. if it running square (parallel to the pads)
odviously with the handbreak off!
i had one of the bearings changed on my auxillary belt, this progressively got worse the more i dirve till i worked out where it was. new bearing job fixed i did at first think it was the alternator bearing. I used my high tech probing stick to listen which normally works. Any metal solid rod or...
