I know that the airbags are a different electrical connection, but what about just the mechanical fit? Are the splines and nut thread the same. The is the Ph1 Vee with a Ph2 Steering wheel on ebay?, so got me thinking...

Shift light is a little green gear stick simbol that comes on at 7000 revs to tell you to change gear. It's a bit strange cos I think the rev limiter kicks in a 7200. You can defintely tell is you have a ally bonnet, it is very light.

Mines got the shift light and the Aluminium bonnet, W Reg Titanium.

Cheers I was in two minds for ages. I bought some after market F1's and ended up selling them on. The original reanault ones seem less chunky.

It's a sore subject. I have the cambelt and auxilary belts changes around 3 years ago when the car was on about 35k miles. So either was it was not due to be done again. When the garage (a different one) took it apart they told me the auxilary belt had a big chip that came off it and made the...

I hear what you're saying...A new engine is still a gamble, mines only done 66k and I've had the Car from 12k so know most of the history. As for a replacement car, I've put H&R colies on, the trophy spoiler, new radiator, new brakes, new wheel bearings, re-trimmed steering wheel, new exhaust...

Awesome, I take it those are 16"'s too. The really suit the Ph2 as well IMO.

I've still got the standard rear lights. I'd try them again if it wasn't for the ball ache of the changing wiring.

I know what you mean by softening the look, the CC does make it look a bit more modern but as it's getting to nearly 10 years old I think I prefer the older look...........a modern classic.

I managed to find them on ebay, I couldn't believe it myself took me ages. Got them for £210 without tyres and they are mint!
