I know that the airbags are a different electrical connection, but what about just the mechanical fit? Are the splines and nut thread the same.

Shift light is a little green gear stick simbol that comes on at 7000 revs to tell you to change gear. It's a bit strange cos I think the rev limiter kicks in a 7200.
You can defintely tell is you have a ally bonnet, it is very light.

I hear what you're saying...A new engine is still a gamble, mines only done 66k and I've had the Car from 12k so know most of the history. As for a replacement car, I've put H&R colies on, the trophy spoiler, new radiator, new brakes, new wheel bearings, re-trimmed steering wheel, new exhaust...
I know what you mean by softening the look, the CC does make it look a bit more modern but as it's getting to nearly 10 years old I think I prefer the older look...........a modern classic.
