No, if you look at detailed specs on the same link, it outputs primarily 720p but will output 1080i/p downscaled, as per pretty much all 1366 x 768 panels. Thats pretty standard fare. The 'display format' is simply referring to the res of the panel, and this is the same as any TV under £1500!

You wont really notice a difference on a screen that size, you need to go 42" and above to physically be able to notice the higher res so to pay extra for 1080P panel this size is a bit of a waste...

It can do 1080i, they just ommitted it from the page. Its on the specs. No point really in 1080i on a 1366 x 768 panel anyway really, better off with 720p, which is what the majority of stuff runs anyway. Thats a top set, cant fault it, esp at that price!
