174,000 so far, got a good few let in it.
Oh they do, I think someone has dobbed me in. Police have apparently been round taking photos, expecting a fine tbh, is it not bad enough that I had the crash :(
Rac just dropped it off in the middle of the road, I did everyone a favour moving it onto...
You'll need a special cone to fit it, so you can stretch the boot over the shaft.
No
Easiest way it found it was to:
A)1)undo the hub nut (30mm socket)
2)take wheel off
3)undo the suspension damper bolts (19mm IIRC)
4)pull the hub towards you, push it left and wiggle the shaft out...
Some of you may have read about my crash a couple of weeks ago and that I decide to call it a day with the French (for now). It is being broken but im having to take everything off little bit at a time due to work, so when everything is off ill put posts up and PM all the people who have already...
Gutted. Thats why im proper on edge atm, mines sat outside and neighbours are cnuts round here. We had a skip once just disappear from out the front of our house when we hadnt finished with it, someone(I know who but couldnt prove it) phoned them up to get it taken away.
Sorry to hear mate, do you have a history of illness or anything?
If it saves you from having a seizure while driving and possible killing yourself and others then its for the best, as gutting as that is.
Hope your ok now though.
Aye yeah, not bad for a first time lol
We were on the way back from a funeral in Chorley. I forgot that I could go across the reservoir which I normally do, I shouldnt of even been going down this road.
Gutted mate, are you ok? :( Another one bites the dust! How bad is it? Chassis and engine...
Got the car back. £250 release fee:(
Just damage to the passenger door, rear quarter and scuffed front wing(just needs a respray) Rest of the car is untouched so will be breaking it. Putting a list with prices together over the next couple of days.
Already had a couple of PM's about the wheels...
Sure , going looking at the car now. Front passenger wheel suffered a bit of grazing but not to bad I dont think, refurb should sort it it. Will let you know.
Thanks for the offer, might take you up on that on one of these thats coming up.
What parts are you interested in? Going picking the...
Its mud and grass from the opposite side that caused me to spin into a tree.
Tried so hard to save it, just didnt have enough road to fix my wrong doings.
I crashed up on Rivington Road today, rear end went, hit the enbankment and flipped onto the passenger side.
Wont go into details, my fault, ran out of talent, to fast for that particular bend but both passenger and myself got out with minor bruises, thank God.
Coming from Horwich way, just...
Great shots Dan,
Have you played with a D700? If you have, how do you rate it compared to the D3? I have a D700 to play with for a week or so but unsure if the extra cash for the D3 is just for the grip or the extra memory card slot or something silly I wouldnt use? Or is there a big difference...
I might be selling my Sigma 24-70 2.8 in a few weeks, Ill let you know a price if i do decide to.
Tiz a great lens, I just dont use it enough to keep it.
Mine didnt hold the grease in coz it slightly pinched the boot so when it was watery it just came out.
And clean the hub where the boot slips over, otherwise it will probably just slip off on full lock.
How are you organising them or transferring them to your computer? I dont know about other software but I use lightroom and it will still import photos of the same name because they are taken at a different time, even if its just seconds apart. I suspect most software should be capable of doing...
