I do this but the flat seems to need to be tightened over and over, that is whn I turn the flat clockwise no more tension seems to be...

There should be a key in the roof of the glovebox to switch the renault one off, the one in the footwell below the glovebox is for the alarm.

I wouldnt, but then when I changed my springs I found that one was about 3 inches taller than the other, so maybe you can but must be dangerous though.

well just got off the phone from budget.
