Acer laptop pre-installed software

If i uninstall it is there any way to get it back in the future? I don't have hard copies of the discs so would it just re-install if i formatted the hard drive?

There's some stuff on there that seems pretty pointless such as Acer Arcade Deluxe and empowering technology as most of it is included in Vista anyway.

I'd like to clean it up a bit.

I've deleted it all off my girlfriends laptop, too no problem. I wouldn't want it back on the laptop but i think if you were to format and re-instal Vista with the CD provided it would come on anyway?

If not its no great loss as the laptop will run a million times faster and without as many problems as the software created.

The acer utilities and drivers can be downloaded from their website. But with the rate of change in laptop technology, I wouldn't rely on them keeping the stuff on there. I needed it for mine and it took me bloody ages to find the right files after browsing through endless pages and ftp servers.

There should be something on the laptop to create a disc format/installation cd. Create this disc and then if you reformat the hard-disk it'll re-install all the software.
