Iv modified my clio 172 to a good standard for track day fun. Parts upgraded are brakes, suspensions, buckets, harnesses and tyres(888).
Iv just brought an L200 for work so the clios a second car from now, my mate at the pub tonight was trying to talk into going the next stage with the car...
iv got these fitted and set up with quite a bit of camber on, been at bedford today they are amazing on track. And they were set at soft all round all day!!
Out handling lots of stuff it really shouldnt have been.
Before crimbo there were loads of companys selling them even black circle at a good price but cant find many place now, it also seems like the price has shot up too!
wheres the cheapest place to go for them?
Has anybody tryed kumho V70 on track?
I am trying to fit a Pioneer HU that requires a dedicated earth connection.
Where is the best place to earth near the HU, it all seems to be plastic?
Any help, i'm trying to get it fitted to my brothers 172 before he gets home for lunch, its a late xmas present, lol!
Cheers
iv got a few sets of R888 in 205/50/15v in the soft compound SG. just wondering the going rate for them all are still road legal about 3-4mm all round.
iv just fitted my imola pro seat on the drivers side with the cobra x low subframe, but the seat is slightly off centre off the steering wheel.
Is this normal with the seats and subframes!!!
i think sliding is a option, the subframe uses the original holes in the floor there the x-low's from cobra and yes they are for use with the side mounted cobras
mates rates have got to be around the 300-400 mark. iv jst got some pros and waiting for the subframes to come from tweaks at about £75 each so put that into the budget
iv been offered some R888 for a really good price off a friend, but the profile is different to the usual ph1 profile. Will there be any difference between the 195/50 running now to some 195/55.
williams totally standard
hybrid has gunner chip with decat full exhaust system and stripped
ph1's got cat-back and stripped
Performance wise my ph1's exactly the same as the Hybrid but the williams was lost by both after 3rd gear!
Really bored tonight so i decided to round the troops up. It ended in a good 100 mile round trip!! oh well good fun  no comments about how filthy they are not been cleaned since FCS, having too much fun driving them!
Re: Am i asking too much
i know you can find cheaper but the speedlines have got to be worth about £300-£400 alone, so your getting a 46k ph1 for about £2600
Am i asking too much

Been trying to sell it for a while now, had a bloke come a view it on the weekend, but no luck.
would take £3000 for it now but really cant go lower than that, i heard that nobody was buying cars but didn't think it...
Yeah iv seen it, looks a weapon but only really wanted to spend £1500 a most!
Im so unsure what to go for because iv driven both cars on road but nothing like you would on track. Iv heard so many different people's opinion, a lot of people say the clio is more planted!!
I am currently look for a cheap weekend/track car. I have a ph1 at the minute but trying to sell it becuase cant really insure it. So i need a little advice possible comparing the two on handling(on track) , performance and reliability!
The reason i am goin for a hybrid or mi16 is to try and...
