absolutely love your car mate!
I wish my car was this low.
I lowered my car on Eibach as well. but only lowered it 20mm at the front and 10mm at the back...not happy.
I lowered it last month, will the car gets lower as time goes on?
Thanks Ben,
17s pretty heavy.
Ben, Im thinkingupsizing my 15" which is 3.5 kg or something to 16" or 17".
Do you think its worth the trouble?? 15" look very small on Clios.
I have lowered the car on eibach. by only by 20mm front and 10mm at the back...it says 30mm all round. oh well.
I know a guy with a Saab 9000 Aero racing with a BMW 730i on the highway,
the 730i just left him!.
Afterwards they met in a service station, he asked how the guy modified the 730i...cos its f**king quick.
the driver of the BMW 730i just replied " I changed the badge from 750i to 730i."...
why Accord?
I beat a modified Commodore VL turbo off the line the other day. hes bloody pissed.
Ill race my mates DC2 Integra Type-R later this week. should be fun.
Just browsing on the specs of 172
the drag coefficient on a Mk2 172 is 0.36
and the 172 Cup is 0.346
so the splitter fitted on the car actually counts for 0.014 reduction of drag?
thats pretty massive for a set of splitters. no wonder 172 CUP is faster ;)
wonder if my astra splitter...
How do you know the nice car will stay there.
I parked next to a Merc, but the merc had gone when I come back to my car.
and this sh*tty car took the space and put 2 dent on my car. fecking p*ss me off!!
I saw people put helium instead of normal air in their tyres. Saw an advert in one of Asian car magzine.
I can see the logic behind it. cos helium is lighter than air.
would be interesting to see what everyone thinks.
Hi,
I was checking my spare wheel
the offset is actually ET -48.5 (negative)
I have a set of aftermarket wheel with ET40 on. found the track is the same as the original wheel.
The springs cost around 150 pound.
I had the suspension specialist dealer fit the springs. took around 2 hours.
Eibachs great! best investment Ive done on the car.
Just wondering how low is everyones Mk2 172.
I didnt get a chance to measure my car when it was standard height.
My car after fitting Eibach sportline springs is,
LF: 600mm, RF:595mm
LR: 610mm, RR:605mm
measured from the ground through the centre hub to the top of the wheel arch...
I have just lowered my car on eibach springs few last week. front is lowered by 30mm but the back is only around 10mm. donno why.....suppose to lower the car around 30mm both front and back.
Anyway, the ride is much softer compare to the original spring...just wondering why the eibach springs...
Hi guys, just get the springs fitted.
They are Eibach Sportline. not prokit. springs are red in colour.
All i can say its FANTASTIC! the springs soak up the bumps so well, rides smoother than the original yet corners with less bodyroll.
On the box it says the springs will lowered the car...
