Cheers. The car runs fine, not overheating or using water, but I had never heard of condensation causing this and argued blind with the bloke that it was a head gasket lol.
I'll get the gunk cleaned up and see if it clears up with daily running of the car.
Would the earthing issue be with...
My brother in law bought a Clio 1.2 Dynamique recently. 02 plate.
The car had been lying for a while and the battery was dead, but the car fired up with a jump start.
He's having a few electrical issues, when he brakes, the fog light dash light comes on, and the indicators seem to have a...
God I feel old. I was 21 when the 172 was launched......................
It does pay to be old though as I was insuring mines for £350 fully comp, all mods declared with the wife as a named driver.
I would doubt that a reliable, super fast car would have been driven by a 17 year old chav to be honest.
Did you even have a budget in mind? Or is this just a pipedream?
Re: Cheap for a 182???
A dealer would probably still take it. I have traded in cars in much worse condition that you state yours is.
My old 306 had a smashed front bumper, big dent in the quarter panel, ran like s**t and the wheels and tyres were screwed.
I got a cracking trade price for...

What I done was copied the cell with the formula (to 2 decimal places which appears correct) and paste special as values.
Death for some, jail for others. I think they did get whats coming to them.
Can only hope when they are released, they learn a lesson from this.
I felt so sorry for the parents of the little girl, and the father of the bloke who crashed into her.
currently sitting on just under 60k, so its had a good run in period.
Most of that is about town, a decent motorway run would most probably have it up near the 700 mark
It still goes against you though, even a non fault. I asked an insurer why they ask about claims (even if they weren't your fault) and was told that you are still deemed a higher risk if you are hit by a third party
Unfortunate thing is that even non fault accidents do go against you. I have been hit twice (in 3 years) and they do take that into consideration when you obtain new quotes. Unfair Yes.
Get his details. Inform your insurance company quickly.
I used to work part time valeting, and had to remove the battenburg stickers from police cars when they were auctioned off. Used AG products, which worked, but took a long time.
