My old Nova GSi had an interesting fault. Remove the hazard switch, turn upside down, re-insert and the ignition came on. Was a fault in a lot of Nova's apparently.
Same with a mates. His steering lock was bust and boot wouldn't lock so we used to have many hours of fun 'stealing' his car...

I know its advisable to have a specialist do the belts on a 172/182, but what about the DCi?
Is this as complicated as on the 172/182 or would a local independant be able to do...
Car manufacturers spend a shed load of cash developing suspension. Then some boy racer comes along, chucks a set of £30 lowering springs on and expects it to handle better
I watched a program recently where a motorbiker died when he lost control of his bike on a corner. He wasn't going fast. Turns out it was because he had used tyre shine on more than just the sidewall which reduced his grip.
Maybe different in cars I guess
