I have asked this before of those who slate them but nobody seems to ba able to say why they are apparently no good, one thing is that they arent very loud thats for sure.
if you have hit kerbs a lot on the hard side could be a twisted or damaged torsion bar, what is the camber of the wheels like?
Does it pull to one side more than it should when you let go of the steering wheel taking into consideration the camber of the road surface?
Maybe get your camber...
would say personally that any styling mods devalue the car unless selling to another modder, even changing the wheels gives it that i have thrashed this motor feel to a potential buyer.
I got my valver at 111k and its fine apart from the usual where the sparks leads dist cap and rotor arm were all worn.
Check the service history to see that it had a cambelt change at around 70K, if it didnt then walk or lower the price dramatically, also the shocks around that age are likely...
just a personal opinion ...but would say NO never white wheels on a black car, not classy at all.
How about black chrome? or anthracite, much more chance of that working
