i work at kwik fit too...see this a lot, basically it's just the tyre perishing, how old is the tyre? could just be that. But, like the chap said, as long as there are no cords or anything exposed you should be fine to run on it. Does it look like it's cracking a bit in the tread too?
195/45 v 15 usually the standard fitment when you wanna put 15s on a (im guessing) lowered car. That's what my Vavler runs on...only b**ch is it's a bit of an odd ball size, but get on mytyres.co.uk and you can get some Eagle F1s for about £40, just gotta find someone to fit em.
Depends where you take it. Most people do a leak test first, and if there's no pressure in the system, most places won't carry on. But if there is, they'll basically go trhough all the checks and refill the refigerant (sp?) And, yeah about £40
I don't really understand that. It's gotta at least be different. It's like that Yellow Williams that turned up on ebay. At least it was different, well, at least the look of it was. Stood out.
I'm hoping mine'll go through, just got a chip on the windscreen that I'm a bit dubious about.
But it's all in good nick. It was my brothers before I bought it. But like I say, I work in the right place now to fix it.
