A friend of mine is a PC, and when they issue tickets for incorrect number plates, they also send a photo to the DVLA to ensure that the person does not simply pay the fine and then replace the old plate. I understand the DVLA check up and the fine from them is a lot more than £30
Re: Would you buy a 100,000 mile 182
Having had a car over 100,000miles and now trying to sell it, no. However, my BMW has 180500miles and is still a first time starter reliable nothing ever goes wrong brilliant car... BUT I can't sell it for a reasonable price, because people are scared off by...
My wife's N-reg 1.2 is eating fuel. The odo said two hundred and something miles after using a full tank... eek! My 2.5litre BMW which is the same age, does far better than that! Any thoughts on what may be wrong with it?
I used to have a Cup and I got 35 to 42 mpg. But £30 for 150miles!!!!! Crikey, you've got a leak! I get 350miles out of £40 in my 12 year old 2.5 litre, 1.8tonne BMW (around town)!!!

I don't know... having seen some of the lesser cars (316s and 318s - all four cylinder engines) on Piston Heads that are far more expensive. However, I am prepared to take offers. £1800 I think has to be the benchmark.

Why on earth would you need an ironing board on a car like that?
I had a Cup and this exact thing happened. The garage couldn't sort it for ages. I think it must be the French 'quality'. Hence, the reason I drive German now.
While I wholly disagree with you on your generalistic statement above, this is the worst example of ott chavism I have seen in a long time. Mind you it's not even a proper BMW. It's only two thirds of one, and a mere four potter. But why oh why?

Standard, but clean and fully functioning, Mk1 Clio rear lights. No reserve.
