does the incar loom have the plug for the RT dials rev counter? if so which colour wire is it for the pulse?

The dials already should work fine.
Just change the dials to the rev counter and it will work fine, three plugs at the back of the current dials plug straight into the new dials.

ok, thats good, any idea which the pulse wire for the tacho is tho? is it pink?

Go into the engine bay, look at the gearbox side, just down from the head there is a gearbox sensor (you can see the gearbox cog and is a funny t shape), this is the sensor, as for going back to the loom i could suggest pulsing the wire with a wire trace and checking the end to find where it is in the dash.
