    Temp gauge sitting low...

I think the temp sensor sends info to the ecu to alter fuelling etc so if you have other issues then it is more likely to be that I would guess. I have a similar problem plus some really bad hesitation when cold so I've ordered a cts so fingers crossed it's that.

    R888 or ns2r

I was going to buy some nankang ns2r track tyres but I've noticed that r888 are only £77 each on openeo so are they worth the extra tenner per tyre? I think both are medium compound and will be used exclusively for trackdays

Did anyone go and view the 27K mile PH1 on eBay?

I'm tempted by the 27k mk1 but it's a big risk no cam belt change for 8 years so I would want to drive it straight to a specialist but what if the belt fails on the way that's the issue that's stopped me going for it so far

    Hissing 172

It is unlikely to be the head gasket from what I've read previously it is almost unheard of for a head gasket to fail on the f4r engine

    Cup rear brake question?

I know the 172 cup rear brakes don't do very much the rear discs on my car never seem to clean up very much I assumed that was because of the low brake effort but yesterday I saw another 172 cup parked up and the rear discs were clean and shiney so I'm wondering if there is a fault with my rear...

    rain/water marks on seats

I had exactly that type of stain on my seats and I used a vax carpet vac with the handheld upholstery attachment it did get rid of the stain and generally smartened up the seats
