Re: New edition to the family...... His name is Pablo
It is lowered on springs
The tires were s**t on them, cheap makes and needed changing asap due to low tread and its was just a hassle as everyone lived so far away and wouldn't collect! least these have 3 month old pirelli tires and are...
Re: New edition to the family...... His name is Pablo
Tax is only £70 for 6 months and £125ish for a year. Its a great car, the mrs likes driving it compared to the lupo. bit more power!
Re: New edition to the family...... His name is Pablo
You thinking of one mate?
To fill up its slightly over £50
Since we travelled all the way to surrey in it the ride was great, averaging around 50.9mpg doing speeds of around 90mph. As soon as you drop around 70mph your mpg goes to around...
Re: New edition to the family...... His name is Pablo
Update:
Picked up some new wheels at the weekend, Also bought a few little mods to make it look that little but better.
I am waiting for some new centre caps to arrive so the Audi ones are just temp. Swapped the wheels with a fellow member...
Just interested on how you achieve this, as a mate wants me to take some pics of his car but wants the plate blanked out..... I am running a mac, do I need photo software?
Cheers Rich
Yeah I think thats what my mate tends to do, all his cars he goes for more power - his last LCR was over 300bhp but had issues along the way, then when he went to the meg...again he wanted big bhp.... he's now running a Z4m, which I can only imagine he'll tune up
Not saying a modded one will take the fun away - just as soon as he bought it, he just started throwing loads of £££ and it wanting more and more power. In the end he needed a few sets of injectors, a few trips over to leeds, time off the road etc.... in the end he sold it! only owned it for 5/6...
Yeah, my mate who modded his (sold it now) just wanted more power and spoiled the drive....... The stage 1 is a fantastic mod, and really is just that little kick to make it more fun.
Has anybody got one of these or used one?? Thinking of getting a double din for the meg, and upon ringing a few companies up a few told me about this headunit, and gave it the thumbs up..

Noticed the rs tuning sticker and the Clio sport one on rear window.
Passed you on the motorway heading south near birmingham area, I was in a silver fabia with 'well bling alloys' on it. We were just on the way to pick new ones up. You had a car full

Many thanks for all your comments!
As for the colour, I was going to go for either Blue, Black or LY. Mercury Gray wasn't even on the cards! I went to view a black one, looked fantastic all polished up but after a quick test drive it showed all the dirt and since I am a clean freak... The...
Don't really want to go down the route of 'over' modding it! as I said if parts wear out then I'll replace/upgrade. A mate had a white one and only had it for 6 months spent a fortune on it managed to get it to 300bhp but had loads of problems and said I wish I never touched it.
They are...
Oh yes! A massive increase, was the best £300 I've spent, also did it from my living room. Bought an rs tuner and Paul emailed me the map over, uploaded it on the rs tuner plugged it into car and away you go
The wheels were done from by renault under warranty by the previous owner. Paint was flaking or something so they agreed to refurb them and he chose the satin black.
Haven't really put many pics up of the car, had it now for around 4 months (time flys!!!) as some of you may know I changed it from a trophy. Its a fantastic upgrade, power and speed is great, handling is fantastic and the brakes....well, there brembos.
The fuel cost as gone up more, but...
Re: New edition to the family...... His name is Pablo
Already know all the faults with them, have been reading the write ups about them for couple of months, with a standard remap (stage 1) it's fine, as with every car.... It's when you start putti g a more aggressive map on it. The map which...
Re: New edition to the family...... His name is Pablo
Yeah seems to be, pulls nice. The guy we bought it off had trouble with it a month after he bought it. A part on the turbo failed which resulted in skoda paying out for a brand new turbo fitted £980!
Re: New edition to the family...... His name is Pablo
Its our mrs car so not going down the slammed look or too many mods. The springs are already a firm ride. Where thinking of either going back to standard or the octavia vrs spiders
Re: New edition to the family...... His name is Pablo
Wheels are going..... they were putting us off the sale as they can easily be removed and changed!
Pick it up on thurs, managed to give 'him' a good clean today. Oh and incase your wondering our mrs likes giving cars names, the lupo gti was called 'Billy''.....
1st off was a good snow foam, washed off, then clayed and all tar removed....
Cleaned the Wheels (which are being removed and sold)...
