Will be sending my spare engine away for balancing, need to know in what built or stripped condition do I send it away in?

It's is a long shot, I have a spare set if your interested I can post them to you but obviously you won't get them today :)

You might find there is a wiring harness under the dash (passenger side) that is extended over to the drivers side that has been modified as renaults are designed to be left hand drive.

As not all cars are fitted with them, same as spare and rear wiper.

Pretty simple, a new one from Renault is around £30 when you buy it get a deepish socket that fits and you will find it to the right of your oil filter

As Fred said, I don't know why people are hell bent on cleaning engine with water/soapy water there are more than enough cleaning product that you can use.

I don't think its the bonnet either.

You need to find a friendly tester :rasp: To be honest with a cat it should pass with a/f ratios being correct not 100% though

And if all the above fails, find someone who is confident with a grinder, cut into it on opposite sides and hit it in one of the cuts with a big chisel and a hammer and it will fracture and fall off.

Lol I had a White fiat UNO formula 45 drove it like I stole it (you had to so you actually got anywhere) full tank was about £25 and lasted me a month! Think I managed a heart stopping 83mph, took ages, I'm going back 13years.

Is it at slow speeds? Possibly a cracked abs ring, does it feel like abs kicking in?
